Strong, organic forms combined with clean lines to create this appealing dining set, designed by Neils Moller.
Chairs and table are all made from solid oak giving a nice honey-gold tone. Their ID is model no.84 – designed in 1976 by Neils Moller. Still in production, new versions retail for $1800+ per chair.
Seats are in woven textile – comfortable and supportive, and super-cool looking.
Table top is made from jointed strips of oak, providing pleasing contrasts.
All pieces are in very good restored condition.
Chairs retain original maker’s heat-brand and stamp to undersides.
An unusual design – stronger and more solid than many of Moller’s designs, but no less attractive – one that is seldom seen this side of the equator.
table measures 149cm long x 89cm wide and stands 72cm tall
chairs stand 80cm tall, with seats 45cm above floor-level x 47cm wide
