An Australian design classic. Dating from the early 1950s, the LC (Lounge Chair).
Featuring ‘boomerang’ profile bodies and long, low paddle arms, these chairs show some key ideas Fred Lowen expanded upon in later Fler designs.
Solid maple frames with original (lightly worn) shellac finish, they are generous and comfortable chairs … and with the matching footstool they make for a very nice lounging experience.
Set has been re-upholstered in a textured, brick red Warwick fabric, with complimenting red/black/cream plaid on reverse – cushions can be flipped to suit your mood!
A very sweet set in good vintage order – ready to use and love!
