Description

Frame is made from bent-ply, giving a flexible and supportive ride, with leather cushion sitting in cotton canvas sling.

The chair is generously proportioned and comfortable, with the ply frame maintaining a light and airy look despite the chair’s proportions.

No maker’s marks remain, but we believe it to be made by Bramin Mobler of Denmark – it is very similar to classic loungers by Arne Norell, but we have only seen examples of his chairs in steel-frame.

Solid and attractive, it would make a great statement chair for a mid-century lounge, or serve well in a Danish modern mancave.

Chair is in good vintage condition. Worn in, but not worn out. Cosmetic wear to leather cushion, but no cracks or holes. Similarly, visual wear to timber finish, but no damage or structural issues – ready to use and enjoy.
