Description
From the high-profile atomic maestro of Australian 50s furniture design, the sweet and compact D350.
With a body made from a cleverly curved piece of ply, this is the ‘baby’ of Grant Featherston’s contour range – his armless dining chair. It shares the trademark maple timber X base with all of his early 50s classics – a good looking chair with a nice ‘live’ back giving plenty of comfort.
This example has been fully restored – stripped and re-wadded over original ply shell – with new fine red leather upholstery. Base has been sanded back to bare timber, ready for shellac or danish oil finish.
Very good overall condition. Fully restored and looking great. Presenting very nicely, ready to use and enjoy.
