Description
A pretty special piece – striking and unique.
This long, rectangular table, with raised ‘lip’ edging along it’s longer faces, features a pair of removable trays, one of which has lovely inlaid timber chessboard, the other faced in white moisture-resitant melamine for drinks service.
Designed by Danish couple Tove + Edvard Kindt-Larsen, it was produced by Swedish marque Seffle Mobelfabrik. The table is made from rosewood, with very striking contrasting grain – an attractive piece which would serve as a highlight in any mid-century interior.
Very good vintage condition, with only light evidence of use. Strong and stable – no structural issues – great order for a 50+ year-old piece. Presenting well overall.
