Description
This set of dining chairs have a lovely shape – frames gently sculpted with appealing squared ‘horned’ shoulders.
They are made from a less seen timber – afromosia (or African teak) – with a very striking grain patterning and great colour. The seats and backrests have been reupholstered in textured high-grade black vinyl.
The set dates from the early 60s, imported from Sweden.
Very good overall condition. The chairs have been fully restored, including re-polishing of timber, replacement of internal webbing and foam, and application of fresh upholstery. They have some minor wear commensurate with age, but are presenting very nicely, and are ready to take their place in a Danish-modern interior.
